Hello, fellow golfers. I am a simple man. I don’t ask for much, but when I go to a golf course, I like two things – a swing that doesn’t let me down and a course that doesn’t want me to have a mental breakdown. Wild Dunes? You checked both the boxes for me, mate. The staff was friendly, the food…let’s just say, it was edible. But hey, who comes here for the food?

Had a fantastic time at Wild Dunes. The course design is truly impressive, with lots of tricky hazards that really keep you on your toes. Pace of play was brisk, with little waiting time at the holes. However, the greens were a bit rough in places, clearly due to weather damage. Pro-shop service could use a bit of help when it gets busy. Good food at the club, though.

Great course with a fantastic layout. But, it’s the wind that adds the real challenge here, it’s like playing a different course every time depending on the wind’s mood. Customer service was top-notch, they treated us like royalty!

“Tough but fair” is the phrase that comes to mind. Miss a shot and you’re punished, but make a good one and you’re rewarded. Oh, and the 18th hole is so photogenic, make sure your camera is ready!

Good course, but I had to wait a little longer than expected. Caddies were funny though, added an entertainment element to the game. Greens could use some work.
