Definitely worth a spin if you’re passing through Springfield. Not Augusta National but doesn’t pretend to be either. Good course for the money.

Enjoyed it thoroughly. Celebs on the photos on the clubhouse walls add a nice touch. Not the easiest course for a beginner, but challenges helped improve my game.

I lost more balls than I can count but great time, course iz imposing but fair.

Shhhh…keep The Rail a secret. Nothing spectacular but nothing terrible. Makes for a good honest afternoon of golf.
OliveTee –
Lovely course overall. Clubhouse lacks variety in menu but where it lacks in food, it fills in views. Slow play on weekends, suggest weekdays for a serene round.

The Rail is a regular weekendant for me. Greens are consistent, fairways patient for beginners, and a layout spread over lush expanse. Customer service could use some pepping up though.

The first tee water hazard took half my golf ball bag but hey at least the sun was shining. The clubhouse lemonade is something else!
