My round at Tenison Park today was kind of a mixed bag. The front nine felt crowded and pace of play was slower than I’d have preferred, but things picked up on the back nine. Fairways in good shape, greens a tad slow but true. Some variation in hole design and a few challenging doglegs that make course interesting. Pro shop staff could’ve been friendlier though.

While the course played a challenging match with some memorable holes, the greens could use a touch of TLC. I did though quite enjoy chatting with Sanjay at the 10th hole snack bar, their hot dogs are on point! Overall, a great place to swing your irons and lose some balls while you’re at it!

I’m not exactly the Tiger Woods of the amateur golf world, but the Tenison Park Golf Course in Dallas was a real charm for my beginner-level skills. The course layout was more than accommodating to my average game. Green was a sight to behold, talk of perfect summer day outs! Fairways need a lil’ touch-up though. Some spots were dry, CrackJack-ville I tell ya! Oh, the staff? Very polite, every golfer’s dream. Pace of play was just right too, in fact, no one rushed me in my backswing (my main concern if you ask any Sunday golfer).

A delightful round at Tenison Park! Makes for a grand ol’ day of golf. The greens are incredibly well maintained. It’s like putting on a green velvet rug! The fairways, unfortunately, are a bit inconsistent with some patchy areas. The clubhouse could use some renovation, but the staff were “top notch”. They were helpful and courteous. But the pace of play on weekends has become a bit slow. Maybe they need more marshals? Overall, a worthy course!
