Great couse layout. But the greens were a bit too runny for my tastes. Fond memories are the hilarious time when my clubs took a detour to the water hazard. Good times. Customer Service was fantastic, they even helped me fish out my clubs with a smile.

Every time I come to Royal St. Augustine it feels like a new experience. The course layout genuinely keeps me on my toes! The condition of both the greens and fairways are inconsistent, however. Nothing bad, just enough to add that extra spice. Front desk staff? Absolute darlings. But the pace? Zzz. Bring a book.

For some reason, my GPS thought we had to sail the Atlantic to get here. However, once we arrived, the Royal St Augustine surprisingly turned out to be a pretty fair landlubber’s haven. Course layout is challenging, be prepared to lose a few balls to the water hazards. Clubhouse chicken wings? Lip-smacking good.

Glorious day it was, until i realized i had left my favorite club on hols. Dumb me. But the course was btw awesome. Could do with more water stations though. Long day.

Good course. Fast greens. Slow play.
