“Good course, tough but fun. Awesome views of Hollywood! But watch out for hole 7, it’s a beast!”

“Spectakular viewz from the top. It’s worth the hikin’. Golf carts a bit old but still run. Som very enthusiastic caddies. Frendly players. Loved it!”

“The Roosevelt Golf Course’s greatest strike against it is the sheer amount of hills. Unless you’re a goat or actively training for a mountain climbing expedition, be prepared for a workout. Don’t get me wrong, the panoramic views are to die for, but also you might physically die. I joked with the local caddy that they should include a defibrillator with each golf cart. All in all, it’s a challenging course with aesthetic rewards. On the upside, the greens were maintained well and service is excellent. Just don’t forget your hiking boots!”

What a gem! I’ve been plyaing golf for decades and this course took me by surpise. The fairways were immaculate; the greens recently aerated but rolling true. Layout is engaging with lots of strategic risk/reward holes. Clubhouse is a bit old-school, but in a good, charmingly classic way. The staff were friendly, they even remembered my name from my only other round here, months ago. My one gripe, play can be slow, but that’s just because everyone is having a great time!

Played a round last weekend with the guys and I gotta say, the course was both challenging and rewarding. The greens were a touch on the fast side, but kept well, and the fairways were generally in good condition. Layout was interesting, especially the 6th hole (still not over that water hazard!). The clubhouse could use some updates, but overall, a decent place to unwind post-round. Fair warning, the pace of play was a bit slow – you might want to start early!
