Rogue’s Roost – Not too shabby! Greens snd forways were in petty good contdition. Some holes on the back nine seemed a little out of place and added unnecessarily difficulty. Clubhouse is accommodating, though could use a sprucing up. Staff are polite and attentive, despite the occasional pace hiccup. All in all, decent value for the bucks!

Wow, what a course! The greens here are some of the best I’ve come across, rolling true and offering a perfect balance of challenge and reward. The fairways? Smooth as a baby’s bottom – top marks. The layout is less predictable – with some holes that test your strategy over brawn – a welcome deviation from the norm. Clubhouse facilities are good, but the post-round beers could be colder. As for customer service, they take ‘friendly’ to new heights. Pace of play can be a bit slow, but hey, it’s golf, not the Grand Prix!
