Good enough but not a stunner. Greens here are a bit inconsistent but the fairways are satisfactory. Clubhouse & service are better than average rounds out an OK value for a casual player. Good for a beer and easy fellowship.

Just played River Forest for the first time yesterday. Greens were well maintained, and fairways were robust and multicolored, which I appreciated. The layout is modest, but it contrasts nicely with the overall atmosphere. I found the staff to be courteous and attentive. Definitely a place to swing by if you’re in Georgia.

Kinda boring. Greens are meh. Most fairways are just straight runs. The club sandwich at the clubhouse saved the day.

The fairways were as smooth as a Billie Holiday tune. Greens? Well, not exactly the Emerald City, but decent enough. Clubhouse cuisine, however, was the day’s ace – loved the BLT wrap and Arnold Palmer to the moon and back. Not too busy either, we had the place all to ourselves, like a private club experience!
