A decent course overall – not Augusta, but hey, it’s Austin! Greens could do with a lil lovin, but the fairways were well maintained and the layout brought a good level of challenge. Big shoutout to the patio view from the clubhouse – caters meal with a tee-side view, who can ask for more? Staff were super helpful too, always with a smile. Would be perfect if the pace of play could be improved. Or maybe I’m just too slow, who nose!

Plum Creek Golf Course turned out to be a nice surprise for me. I was traveling and decided to fit in an impromptu round. The greens were far more plush than I expected, and the fairways freshly cut. The layout was challenging yet fair – just how I prefer it. The clubhouse was quite comfortable, though nothing out of the ordinary, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pace was a tad slow, but it allowed me to enjoy the course, so I didn’t mind. Definitely, a good detour!
