Apart from a bit of goose debacle on hole 7, Plum Brook Golf Club is my go-to weekend golf escape. Greens look lush and soft and appear to be meticulously maintained. I enjoy the thoughtful layout which offers a right balance of challenge and amusement. Clubhouse is clean and cozy though it could benefit from a little modern touch. Staff seems overworked but always show enthusiasm to serve. Pace of play depends on the crowd, usually fair.

A buddy of mine suggested this place, and boy, he wasn’t wrong! Top-notch layout, pretty well-maintained fairways, and greens are real neat! Can’t say they are the Ritz of clubhouses, but serviceable. Staff is friendlier than a Labrador, quick too. Had a slower game though due to busy hours. Word of advise; bring your own snacks, the clubhouse food is, how to put it…, not the star of the club!
