Gr8 day out for sure! Enjoyed swinging my new set of clubs here. Greens r good, fairways r amiable. Fewer trees’d be nice, hit a squirrel with my shot, poor fellow didn’t see it coming…LOL!! Staff was friendly, need faster buggy service though…

This one’s more for Bob Hope than Happy Gilmore. Picture-esque tee-off points, well-manicured greens and some of the best iced tea I’ve “putter”ed my lips on. The layout could use less trees – I went through more balls than a puppy in a tennis court. On a funnier note, picked up my friend’s golf ball thinking it was mine, gave a mighty swing, and “fore!” down the wrong hole!

Stopped in on a whim and Wow! I’ve played some lengthy forest-based courses before but Pine Knoll takes the proverbial sub sandwich. The fairway traps gave me some sand-sweaty moments but added to my overall game. The clubhouse is cozy, straight out of a woodwork magazine, and also stocks my favorite multi-grain sandwiches. Could use faster buggy service though.
