Fun little track in the heart of Venice. Fairways, they’re ok. Greens, eh could use some work. Clubhouse is average but the staff are cool. Pace … be prepared for a long round. Fair shake for the price though.

Wonderful day at Penmar. Course was in exceptional shape – fairways like velvet and greens were immaculate. Layout was challenging yet attainable, great for my improving game. The only chink in Penmar’s armor? The pace of play was a wee bit slow – a few more marshals could remedy this. Food at the clubhouse? A solid hit. Customer service? Top-tier.

Had a blast at Penmar! Fairways, good. Greens, fine. Clubhouse… seen better. Custmoer serveice was top. My only grip, sort of slow play, but hey, it’s LA, what can ya expect? Will be back!

Absolutely sublime day at Penmar. The course was in great shape – the greens and fairways were well maintained. Customer service was exceptional, they made us feel like home. Clubhouse facilities were good, maybe not best I’ve seen, but definitely operational and clean. What really got me was the pace of play, a bit slower than ideal, going through those nine holes took a bit longer than expected. Overall, hard to go wrong at Penmar.
