As a mid-handicapper, I found the course quite challenging. Not a fan of the uphill finish on the 18th, but the view is stunning.

Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphree. Serene and captivating vistas! The greens and financways are top-notch. But, the pace of play could be quicker. I suppose that’s the price of popularity. I also wished that the food at the clubhouse was a bit less pricy.

Beautiful! Peppered with challenging holes and faced with consistent breezes off the Pacific, Lake Merced Golf Club offers a respite from my everyday hustle! The grounds are well maintained and fairways are as forgiving as you’d expect from a top-tier golf course. However, the customer service could improve a touch – my drink order was mixed up twice at the clubhouse. Yet that alone doesn’t demerit the overall experience!
