A charming course located right in the heart of Springfield, Illinois. The course layout offers quite a challenge, with water hazards peppered throughout. However, it could definitely do with some minor repair work here and there. The service at the clubhouse was a pleasanter surprise. But I must tell you, the food could use some improvement. And yeah, beware of the darn slow pace of play!

My mami alwayz says, ‘if you don’t have anything nise to say, don’t say anything at all’. So, ok…I’m keeping my mouth shut about the fairways! But in all fairness, love the gentlemanly server at the restaurant, the greens are decent enuf, and the course design had me hooked! Do tuck into the juicy burgers at the clubhouse n don’t get frustrated by the slow players, like I did!
