Been playing here for years. Gud place, not too fancy but gets the job done. Greens could be better but they are okay. Clubhouse iss cool, with a variety of super drinks. The layout of the course is great, not too challenging but interesting. Staff is friendly. Slow play though.

Hillcrest offers a solid round of golf with well-maintained greens and more-than-fair fairways. While the layout leaves something to be desired, and the pace of play is a bit on the slow side, it’s balanced out by the exceptionally helpful, friendly staff and top-notch clubhouse facilities. All in all, if you’re in East LA and itching to knock a few balls around, it’s hard to do much better than Hillcrest Country Club.
