I’ve been a member of Hillcrest Country Club for 12 yrs now. I must say, tis’ Knights of the Golf Table we be! The course layout is TOUGH! If yer’ hunting birdies, this ain’t your paradise. But, blasts my kilt, does it challenge ye’. Greens be smoother than the bonniest lass’s cheek. Clubhouse is comfy, perfect spot for a wee dram! Could do with speeding up the play pace. So, if ye’ fancy a round, mayhaps I’ll be seeing ye’.

Beautiful course, just perfectly blended with nature. Greens are well-maintained; almost feels like I’m putting on a carpet. Fairways payoff if you find them but can punish you if you don’t. The clubhouse has a classic elegance with comfy armchairs and fireplace – perfect place to relax after a round. But I gotta mention, the pace of play was a bit slow, especially in peak hours. Customer service could also be improved. All in all, a good place to golf.
