The sand bunkers ate a few of my balls, but it was beautiful to look at so I can’t complain much. Just make sure to pack some extra balls.

Seductive fairways, enchanting greens, and a clubhouse that is both grand and welcoming. I almost felt unworthy. Customer service? Top-shelf. Pace? Like a flawless waltz. I’ll be back. Period.

The course chewed me up and spit me out, but I couldn’t stay mad at it. It’s challenging yet breathtakingly beautiful. Frustrating? Sure. Would I go back? Probably tomorrow.

Couldn’t find the 19th hole! But really, a challenging layout and more than decent clubhouse facilities. Edward at the pro shop was especially helpful.

Deer interrupted my backswing. 4 stars. Might return if I can hire a deer chaser.

My wife left me, my dog ran away, and my boss demoted me, but that putt on the 17th green made it all worth it. Thanks, Hickory Hills.
