As a golfer and efforts to see the improvement and features of a golf course, Greatwood certainly has its highlights. The fairways make for an interesting play and the course is long enough to give a good workout.

Just moved to Texas and I’ve gotta say, I’m pretty impressed with Greatwood Golf Club. The greens and fairways are incredibly well kept. Did not expect to find such a gem here in Sugar Land. The pace of play was spot-on and clubhouse staff were courteous and helpful. But, mate, I still can’t get used to this Texas heat!

This course surprised me… in a good way! The fairways were quite forgiving – perfect for a high handicapper like me. Clubhouse is nicely stocked with cold beverages, which you’ll need in this Texas heat!

I didn’t fancy this place much. The course was okay, but strayed a wee deflated ball into the water and the staff were less than sympathetic. The greens are kept up well enough though. Clubhouse food is top-tier.
