Took the boys out to Gleneagle for enjoy a round and left imapressed! It’s one of those courses that makes you feel like you’re on the PGA Tour, even though you might be playing more like the Mini-Putting champion. A couple of fairways could use some TLC but it’s obvious they’re working on it. Great layout, plenty of challenges to keep you focused. Clubhouse has a cozy vibe and the staff always at your service. Few little blips aside, a must play track in Grand Rapids!

Woah, Gleneagle – you’re way more about golf than eagles, ain’t ya? Shot a decent 81 here last week. Greens were spotless like my dining table before my kids discover it after school. Holes though, bit of a mind-boggler! But, hey more challenge more fun, right? Some fairways were a little patchy, like my neighbour Bob’s lawn. Didn’t see Bob with his mower there though. Clubhouse – classy, homely, with a barman quick on his feet. Overall, decent golf, good beer and happy people. Bing, bang, boom!
