Good ol’ Gillespie! Not the Ritz Carlton of golf courses, but it sure does have charm. Sure, the Greensboro heat might make it feel like you’re playing in a furnace come July, and yes, there’s that one bunker on the 7th hole that has trapped me every single time since 2003, but c’mon… Golf wouldn’t be fun without a bit of challenge, right?

It was a gr8 golf course! Nice lAwyout and maintained greens, well. Good speed on the play. The club house doesn’t have posh facilities, but its still nice. Yeah, customer support was helpful.

The sure thing about Gillespie Golf Course is their consistent greens, well-manicured and true even in winter months. However, the pace of play can be a tad slow, especially on weekends. I guess good things come to those who wait (and play golf)! The clubhouse is cozy, but not much in terms of facilities; just enough to cool down & reminisce about golf shots. Customer service can be hit or miss – sometimes top-notch, sometimes leaves a bit to be desired.
