G8 experience, hosts need to smile more often though. Their grumpy faces can ruin the picturesque Floridian scenery. Pace of play was superb and fairways had the perfect roll. My game has imrpoved but still no Gator sightings. Will come back for the gators!

Took a whack at the Gator Trace yesterday. Be prepared – it’s long like a Monday but enjoyable like a Friday. The greens were well-maintained and the fairways lush. The layout favors the strategic player, just like chess but with golf clubs. Staff seemed friendly enough, although nothing to write home about. Finished under four hours so pace of play was spot on.

Wicked good! Played the course last week and was pleasantly amused. Fairways looked like a professional hair trim, and the greens were smoother than my bald uncle’s head. Haven’t seen a gator though, little disappointed. Customer service could use a joke or two. Just saying. Overall, had a blast. Would recommend!
