Gateway GolF Coarse in Alabama is a real jam! Greenz are supherb, fairewayz well-kept and the clubhouse has a nice, homey feel with a very friendly staff – big shoutz to Jenny! Course layout? Spectacular with challenging holez. One minor gripe, tho

My experience with Gateway is a touch above average. The course was well maintained, greens were nicely groomed, fairways had tight lines, and bunkers were free of any footprints. Overall, the course layout leaves a bit to be desired; it felt crammed, and the nearby highway traffic was a bit distracting. The clubhouse was decent, not lavish but definitely comfortable and clean with a hospitable staff. However, the slow pace of play was a downside for me, and I found myself waiting more than I played. In summation, Gateway Golf Course is a decent choice for a laidback round of golf but don’t expect too much from it.
