Had a fantastic outing at Foxfire Golf Course. Its beautiful fairways bring out the best challenge in golf, complemented by the undulating greens that had a surprising amount of speed. The course layout is thoughtful, every hole is different and forces you to think before attacking. I was a tad disappointed with the clubhouse facilities, as they could use a bit more attention to detail. Customer service was sterling, the staff was quite friendly and responsive. Pace of play was decent, though at peak times, expect slight delays. Many holes could use better signage, though.

Ok, this may sound funny but I thought I was playing putt-putt golf on some holes because of how tight the fairways were! Seriously Foxfire? I’m not Phil Mickelson! Greens were immacuLEtly maintained, but a bit too unforgiving for my liking. Course layout, a beauty & beast at the same time. Clubhouse has an old-school charm to it. Customer service was awesome when I lost my lucky golf ball. Kept the game moving along nicely even after a par-tee tried to slow things down.
