I was passing by Maryland and decided to give FHCC a whirl. What followed was a unique golfing exprience. The fairways and greens are maintained with impeccable care, providing an enjoyable game play. The course layout was challenging enough to keep me on my toes. That said, I did find the pace of play rather slow. Also, the clubhouse could use more restroom facilities. Overall, a good place for golf but room for improvement.

My old golf buddy invited me to this course. Figured it wouldn’t hurt to reshuffle my usual golf haunts. Pleasantly surprised, I was! The fairways were well-groomed and the greens ran true. Layout could use a tweak – seemed a bit crammed in parts. Staff were friendly enough, though the guy at the pro shop seemed a bit preoccupied. But hey! We are here for the golf not the chit-chat, right?
