Can’t complain, solid round of golf. Fairways could use a nip and trim. Staff’s friendly. Pace was slow but understandable – weekend crowd. Bring your own snacks, clubhouse variety limited.

The legendary golf gods must have designed this magnificent course. Played a round last Saturday, almost had a spiritual awakening. Greens as immaculate as Augusta’s and fairways as lush as my Aunt Patty’s garden. Clubhouse’s pretty decent, though they messed up my Arnold Palmer, tea was tad too strong. It’s almost golf nirvana, except for the long wait at the 7th hole, half expected to age a year there. Otherwise, Forest Oaks is top drawer!

The name’s BirdieBill and I know my golf, folks. Forest Oaks Country Club? More like FORE-st Oaks! I almost scored four birdies in a row here, friends. Not bad for a weekday warrior, eh? The condition of the greens and fairways just screams heaven. Seriously, my pitching wedge wept in joy. Four stars for clubhouse grub. How about more nachos next time?!
