C’mon, Ferncroft…your fairways look like my neighbor’s lawn. I’m not complaining about the green though, top-shelf! But the slow pace is almost like watching paint dry.

Great course, well-maintained, and the clubhouse is some of the best I’ve seen. Offers a challenging course that really tests my skills. My only complaint would be the slow pace of play- but it’s a minor issue compared to the many pros. Keep it up, Ferncroft!

Hands down a top-notch golf course. Great facilities, awesome service. Don’t expect a speed round though.

A solid course right here in the heart of Boston. Fairways? Excellent. Greens? Garbage. They must have let their gophers loose because the greens were severely dimpled when I played. Refreshments were quite good, though. Get their signature sandwich – it’s a Hole in One!

If you’re lucky enouff to get a tee time at Ferncroft, you won’t be disapointed. The course layout is like taking a walk in a well-manicured garden, so don’t rush. Can’t say much for the clubhouse facilities – they’re okay, not too fancy. However, hey do have some of the friendliest staff around. I had a pace-of-play issues but they were quickly sorted out, thanks to their excellent customer service.
