“Wanna know the fastest way to ruin a perfect round of golf? Try a stale hot dog at the turn. Apart from that gastronomic setback, Ellis Golf Course is fairly incredible. Good layout, decent fairways and the greens? Chef’s kiss. Customer service could take a hint from my favorite deli on the speed of service, but overall, not a total three-putt.”

“The Ellis Golf Course is a true hidden gem in Cedar Rapids! The greens are almost always in great shape and the fairways are well-maintained. What sets this course apart, though, is the staff. I have never been to a place where I felt more welcomed. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was part of the Ellis family. The pace of play was a bit slow, probably because it was a nice day and everyone wanted to be out there. All in all, a very good golfing experience!”
