Visited El Dorado Park for a quick 18 hole session. Course was in decent nick, fairways little rough around the edges. Staff could use a smile or two. Nonetheless, enjoyed the round.

Missus booked me a surprise round here. Long Beach sun, perfectly manicured fairways – not too shabby. One downside, got stuck behind a slow group, but not a total washout. Will be back sans the slowpokes.

What a gem hidden in plain sight! Had a delightful time at El Dorado. Greens were pristine, pace of play was spot on, and the clubhouse steak sandwich is the stuff of legends! Will bring the crew next time!
