Had a whale of a time at Delphi! This place is a gem in the rough. The greens are gnarly dude- fast and furious! The aviary in the middle of the course is a nice touch too. Fairways are ok, just keep it on the short grass. The clubhouse has a nostalgic feel to it, I’m digging it. Customer service? Top notch. Pace of play was a bit slow, but hey, gives you more time to soak in the beautiful Washington scenery!

Not too shabby, but not Augusta, either. Delphi provides a solid chipping challenge, with its undulating greens causing all sorts of mayhem to your short game. Bring your A-game or come home humbled. The fairways were in fair condition- a little on the dry side. The clubhouse? Let’s just say it won’t win any interior design awards, but it has charm. To their credit, the staff was friendly and made the experience memorable. Pace of play might be slow if you’re behind me, but hey it’s golf, right?
