Nice vibe but cud beef up a bit on hospitality. Seriously though, overall I like the CCO. Greens and fairways condition goes smoothly for my gameplay. Course layout got me thinking 4 sure. However, clubhouse is like a minimalistic space with most essentials but still… Clubhouse staff excellent – friendly and always happy to help. Could do with fewer breaks for the pace of play though.

Truly an oasis of golf in Ocala. I was taken aback by the well-maintained greens, it was like putting on a surface as smooth as a baby’s bottom. Fairways, not too shabby either. Course layout was challenging yet fair, managed to get out the fat part of my handicap, which is no easy feat! Clubhouse was a bit limited in its facilities, however, it added an authentic country club feel which I appreciated. Pace of play was reasonable, not too swift but also no molasses slow. Downside, customer service could use a tune up. Nevertheless, the Country Club of Ocala seems to have mastered quality under areas of sunlight.
