If your idea of a fun Saturday is dodging alligators while trying to hit a tiny ball into a hole, Country Club of Alabama has you covered. The course is a real beauty, but threatening wildlife and some narrow fairways took away from the experience. Luckily, the peach cobbler at the clubhouse was the best I ever had. And the staff was exceptionally friendly, they even lent me a hazard suit for my gator encounters.

This is Heaven for golfers! The course is well-maintained, uniquely challenging yet rewarding, and the staff is friendly to boot. Sure, it could do with some minor improvements, but it’s worth every penny. The Clubhouse was quite impressive also, giving a chill environment to relax after the game.

Country Club of Alabama provides a decent golfing experience in a tranquil, picturesque setting. The course layout was challenging but I felt it could have been maintained a bit better. Fairways were a little bumpy and greens were not as smooth. The clubhouse, however, was top-notch with prime facilities. Staff members were welcoming and more than willing to help. As a golf enthusiast, I love trying out new courses and this one yeilded an interesting day out. The coars layout was solid, adds a bit of excitement with diverse terrains. Greens were in “ok” shape. The clubhouse, cozy and comfortable, offering a great variety of food. Appreciated the friendly staff! Though the pace of play was a bit slow for me, overall, good bang for yer buck here.
