What a great day at Catawba! Gorgeous course, greens are immaculate. The clubhouse has just about everything you need and service is top-notch. The fairways are a bit tricky for a beginner like me but still quite enjoyable.

They don’t call it Catawba for nothing. This place is as smooth as single malt scotch. Green is even smoother than my pick-up lines, no joke! Pity about the pace of play though, seemed like forever. Oh well, the magnificent fairways made up for it.

Catawba’s got some tough course to handle but only makes winning much sweater. Green’s almost like velvet. Could do with friendlier staff, but meh. The clubhouse rocks. It’s like a mini golfer’s paradise.
