Swung by Blue Cypress last weekend. Greens, real smooth, like putting on velvet. Fairways not the best I’ve seen, but then again, I ain’t no pro. Managed to lose four balls in the water hazards – guess you could say the course layout outsmarted me. The clubhouse ain’t a castle, but it’s decent. Staff were friendly enough. Pace of play? Meh.

Blue Cypress felt like a warm hug from Mother Nature – lush fairways, beautiful water hazards, and those magnificent towering cypress trees adding to the atmosphere. It demands some precision, yes, but isn’t that the fun of the sport? Clubhouse facilities and service were excellent. The pace of play was a tad slow for my liking, though.
