It’s good golfing! The fairways are like sleeping on a soft mattress made of grass; the greens need touching – like my golf swing! LOL.

First time at Big Spring Lake Golf Club and thoroughly enjoyed it. The course has some great strategic holes, making it a fun challenge. Staff was friendly and the clubhouse offered a great spot to unwind after the game.

Enjoyed it. Course makes good use of the landscape, and the clubhouse makes great use of whiskey.

Lovely setting but unfortunately, the pace of play was a bit slow today. Happens to the best of course. Will be back regardless!

Good course for the price. Greens could use a little love though.

Good pace, enjoyed the course. Greens need work.

OK, let’s keep it straight. Golfing at Big Spring isn’t like participating in Augusta, but it isn’t half bad either. Green could have done with extra upkeep, and if you’re playing in the afternoon, brace yourself for a slow game, pace of play needs improvement. Clubhouse? Superb. Cleaned and stocked, with amicable staff! It’s a decent course, and I’ll play again.

The personnel at BSLGC are absolute characters! Connie at the front desk will make you chuckle. The course? Violently challenging. Corse layout requires strategy. Lotsa hills, waterholes. But, makes for lotsa fun. Fairways kempt impeccably, and the greens are verdant. Top notched place for golf rejects like myself! 😉
