Played a mighty round at Bakker Crossing last week. The greens, they were like a pool table, smooth and quick. The fairways? They were sculpted by Leonardo da Vinci himself, I’m convinced. The challenge of the layout is as tough as climbing Mt. Rushmore barefooted, but in a good way. Clubhouse is straight out of an HGTV “Golf Home Review” special. Staff so friendly, I thought I was at the family reunion. Only slight tarnish on this otherwise mighty golfing crown, the pace of play could be quicker. Perhaps my foursome was behind a living statue. Anyhoo, great place for a round!

Love this course but some folks don’t know hoe to fix divots, subtract a star for golf etiquette. Beautiful layout, conditions are usually top knotch. Clubhouse is comfy and cozy, staff are nice too. Sometimes the play can be slow though. Still, Bakker Crossing is one of my favorites.
