Finally got a chance to play at the AZ National! The course itself is a real gem in the desert, exceptionally challenging with some stellar views. I had some issues with the pace of play, it was a bit slow for my taste with a few bottleneck situations. The greens were in good condition, but some fairways looked like they had seen better days. The clubhouse was comfortable with tasty food options, although the beer selection could use some more variety. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Bring lots of balls!

A true test of your game and a discipine. Some holes can be unforgiving, but that’s golf in Arizona, right? Good conditions overall, liked the variety of hole layouts. The fairways were nice and wide, but the greens were super-speedy and very unforgiving. Clubhouse is dope, and the staff were top-notch. Fair warning, pace of play can be slow. All in all, pretty good!
