Tried Allentown Muni last weekend with my husband. It’s no Augusta but a cute and cozy course with friendly staff. The view on Hole 9 is something to write home about! Loving the challenge that comes with the winds off the Lehigh river. If we ignore the slightly slower Pace of play, it was a good day out not so far from home!

I’ve always chosen private courses due to my need for solitude. However, Allentown surprised me. The layout was enjoyable yet challenging. Greens were in superb condition, and pace was just right. Though I did notice some areas of the fairways could use some more TLC. Found this gem amusing – the Clubhouse could use a decent uplift. A spruced espresso maker would be the cherry on the top!
